The Borderlands Hand Painted Crew

Donated by a MiniWarGamingand hand painted by our resident miniatures painter Dave G of Wargaming Tradecraft each of these painstakingly painted models portrays a Borderlands Character. To be auctioned individually, you will never find another model quite like these beauties due to the countless hours poured into them. As Dave G finishes his work, we will post final pictures so you can see how much you will want to bid for these one of a kind items.

We have included the final pictures below. Please click on the images to see larger versions.

Ogrun Assault Corps

Donated by MiniWarGaming, Dave G used a single Ogrun to create the character “Brick” and MiniWarGaming sent a whole box of these guys. We figure it’s only right that the extra models go up for auction to raise a little more for the cause. These four models are unpainted, but in perfect condition for adding to your army.

 Pair of Tea Party VIP Tickets: Concert + Meet and Greet

Yes folks, you read that right! The Tea Party (No politics… just rock and roll) have graciously donated a pair of VIP tickets, for which we’re extremely thankful! They will be playing in Toronto, Ontario at the Canadian National Exhibition on Friday August 31st at 7:30 pm… and you’re going to meet the band!

Sure, it’s up to you to get to Toronto, cover any accommodations if you’re planning on staying there and entry in to the CNE. But so what? How better a way to say goodbye to summer than spending a day at The Ex, which is always a blast for all ages, and finishing it by meeting The Tea Party and watching them play? If you don’t have something for them to sign, don’t worry, because we’re going to throw in a few old not-for-sale, promo-only t-shirts.

* The fine print:

These tickets are NOT for resale. You’ll have to provide us names of you and your guest as well as your contact information. We’ll give this information to the band and the tickets will be waiting for you at Will Call on the day of the event. Bring photo ID. (In case there are any issues, you’ll have Dave’s cell phone number and he’ll be able to get a hold of the band.) We suggest you pick these up earlier in the day to avoid delays. CNE entry costs are currently listed as $16 /person or $48 for a family pass for 2 adults, 2 kids or 1 adult and 3 kids. FYI, in previous years, upgraded tickets were available that would also provide access to Ontario Place. They are closed for the next 5 years for renovation.

Don’t lose your eye, matey!

Donated by Abbots Hollow Studios, we were fascinated when we found a journal that can stare back at us. A yellow plastic eye with a round pupil look out from the raised face. The other eye is covered by a pirate eye patch. The deep wrinkles and soft feel of the leather make it a one-of-a-kind creation. 110 sheets of unlined 70 LB weight acid-free paper accepts all dry media and is sourced from certified sustainable forests.. Signed by the artist, this journal is a sure fire way to capture your dreams and fire your imagination!

“The Final Battle”

This wonderful 8″x10″ original artwork on canvas by T.L. Wood of Magical Alley  features a little faery that has saved this innocent little faery cat after he had been injured in a terrible battle from the world they lived in. T. L. painted her with a dirty face and with tears streaming down her lovely cheeks, creating the mood if both of these little creatures were caught in the crossfire and she stepped in to help, witnessing things within their world which neither one of them were used to seeing or feeling. It was made to reflect the sadness and pain of all of the children who are battling against the “war” (disease or any crippling ailment) going on inside of themselves; one which keeps them from enjoying the beauty in their lives.

Killer Bunny

Oh sure, he looks harmless. That’s just to lure you in though. Note the presence of sharp, pointy fangs just under his cute little button nose. He’s a pretty tough customer, make no mistake, poised to spring at any moment. It’s important to keep all fingers, hands, and housepets away from the box at all times, or there could be an incident. He’s already savagely mauled a ficus and my cat only escaped by hiding on a bookshelf. We at Headshots from the Heart must stress that we are not liable for any damages to your home, family, or sanity caused by our auction items, and that goes double for this one if you take him out of the box. This awesome menace was donated by the Hippopotamus Society.
