Is it hard to get into Brit school?
It’s very competitive – if you want to attend you need to apply and then you will need to be interviewed or audition, depending on the course you would like to study. But it is one of the best school’s in the country for performing arts, so it’s definitely something to consider and learn more about.
What grades do I need to get into The BRIT School?
Entry into the School is at age 14, after completion of Key Stage 3, OR at age 16 after completion of GCSEs.

The BRIT School is continuing to narrow the attainment gap between disadvantaged and non- disadvantaged students and their GCSE grades.
- 40.3% of all entries are at 9-7 grades or the equivalent.

Do you have a uniform? No. At BRIT Kids we believe all students are individual. We only ask that students wear loose comfortable clothes so they can move and take part in all class activities.

Is GCSE dance hard?
GCSE dance is quite heavy on contemporary and choreography (with meaning behind it) and you also have to perform as a duet or trio. She’s done Acro dance and contemporary for about 2 years – very difficult for me to say what her ability is, she does seem alright.

The School day starts at 8.45 am. All sessions are 1 hour or multiples of 1 hour. We run a continuous day with flexible lunch arrangements.
