What can you see at Melbourne Museum?
The new Melbourne Museum reopened on 21 October 2000. Inside, you’ll find: the Forest Gallery, the living heart of the museum and home to tall trees and wondrous wildlife. the Science and Life Gallery at the west end, where you’ll find bugs, dinosaurs, fossils, animals, human biology and more.

Is the NGV free?

Do you have to pay to enter the National Gallery?
Admission to the collection is free. For special exhibitions held in the Sainsbury Wing there is a charge. Tickets can be purchased on the day in the gallery, online or in advance by telephone.
