What is refissa cream used for?
This medication is used to improve the appearance of the skin by reducing fine lines and wrinkles, reducing roughness, and improving skin color. It should be used with a skin care and sunlight-avoidance program that includes moisturizer and daily use of an effective sunscreen (minimum SPF 15).
Is refissa the same as Retin-A?
The generic name for all of these is tretinoin and they are in the retinoid (Vitamin A cousin) category. The difference is in the base in which they are put and the percentage of active ingredient in each.
Is refissa A retinol?

How long does it take for refissa to work?
Generally, you may notice some effects in 3 to 4 months. The effects are usually most noticeable at about 6 months with little additional improvement after that time. If Refissa is stopped, the improvement will gradually diminish. The safety of using Refissa daily for more than 48 weeks has not been established.
Can I use refissa under my eyes?
You must be especially careful when applying the cream to avoid your eyes, ears, nostrils, or mouth. Refissa may cause severe redness, itching, burning, stinging, and peeling if applied to these areas. Using larger than necessary amounts of Refissa will not speed results and can cause an overdose.
