Only BYU-Idaho students are eligible to live in approved housing. All single students under the age of 27 must live in approved housing unless they live at home with their parents. Exceptions to live outside of approved housing are rare.

Is there a curfew at BYU-Idaho?
Curfew and Quiet Hours Students should be in their own apartments by midnight Saturday through Thursday nights and 1:00 a.m. on Friday nights. Apartment visitors must leave in time to arrive in their own apartments by curfew. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. daily and all day on Sunday.

Can you wear jeans at BYU?
General Dress Standards Shorts, dresses, and skirts must be knee-length or longer. Jeans, pants, or shorts, or other clothing that are worn-through, frayed, torn, or have holes in them, even if the holes are below the knee, are not acceptable attire. Shirts must be worn at all times in public areas while on campus.
Can freshmen have cars at BYU?
Register Your Car To park on campus, you must register your vehicle. There are a few free parking lots available to students, or you can pay $60/semester for “Y” parking (typically located closer to campus). On-Campus residents don’t need to pay the fees, but do need to register their vehicle!
