The primary difference is the grip and aesthetics, the USP is a thicker brick grip for the 12 round magazine and is a tad blocky. The HK45 has a very comfortable grip but only hold 10 rounds (11 if you try hard), and is a slicker design over all. You’re gonna want to get both.
