How do I change my room at ECU?
Room change requests must be made in person; only the student(s) moving needs to come in. If you are interested in changing rooms, please visit the Neighborhood Service Office (NSO) of the hall or neighborhood (College Hill, Central, or West End) to which you would like to move.
Where do I get mail from ECU?
Mail Services is located on the main campus in Building 43 on Founders Drive. The entrance is in the back of the building adjacent to Slay Hall. Departmental mail and packages are accepted with FOAP slips. University mail is metered, Monday-Friday from 8 am until 4:30 pm.

ShipMates, our admitted student network, is a great way to find a roommate if you don’t already have one in mind. Students who don’t request a specific roommate are assigned one based on gender and smoking preference. We start assigning rooms and roommates in May.
Where can I find my pirate ID?
Your Pirate ID and ECU/Banner ID are listed in your admissions portal where you completed your application. Pirate ID is your username to access your ECU Email, Pirate Port and Canvas and other systems that require logging in. Your ECU/Banner ID replaces your SSN and identifies you as an ECU student.
Where do I send transcripts to ECU?

Can you loft your bed at App State?
The Student may not bunk, unbunk, or loft their beds; lofting or bunking of beds is to be done only by University Housing staff. The Student may use bed risers to raise their bedframes for additional storage space. Beds may not be higher than 8″, and the use of cinderblocks is not permitted.

Upon admission to the university, all students are assigned a unique “ECU ID” that identifies you as an ECU student. All ECU IDs begin with the letter B followed by 8 numbers. Your ECU ID is displayed in the Admissions Portal.
What GPA is required for ECU?
To be eligible, students must have a 3.7 unweighted GPA or a 4.0 weighted GPA and apply to ECU by November 1 (including receipt of transcripts).
Will my credits transfer to ECU?
Yes, we do accept coursework for admissions and credit purposes when a student has earned a “P” (pass) or an “S” (satisfactory) on their transcript.
