What do you wear to WOMAD?
Rain clothes – Make sure you have a poncho in case of desperate weather conditions. Also, a few different pairs of trousers, or at least leggings are always a good idea for your packing List for WOMAD Festival. And winter clothes – you need to have nice, cosy jumpers for the evening and night.

Can you take food into WOMAD?
Snacks – you’re more than welcome to bring your own food to WOMADelaide, but again – no glass! Medication – especially for asthma, allergies or hayfever as the park can get dusty at times. Earmuffs for children – especially if you plan on dancing near the front!

Will Womad 2022 be Cancelled?
We all had great expectations of bringing the festival back to Taranaki after disruptions due to COVID 19 in 2021. It is heartbreaking to cancel for the second year in a row due to circumstances entirely out of our control. Our team has cautiously forged ahead with planning for 2022 over the last few weeks.
Can you take alcohol into WOMAD?
And yes, it’s definitely an essential for your WOMAD kit list. If you’re camping at WOMAD you can take alcohol in, but you’re not allowed to take it into the main arena.
