What is K System metering?
K-Meter helps you calibrate your studio monitors by outputting pink noise through each channel. You can use a 3rd party sound pressure meter to ensure proper levels (see the manual for details). Calibrating your monitors makes mixing/mastering by ear even more effective.

Should I use RMS or LUFS?
RMS tells you the the average power of the signal, but LUFS integrated loudness is more accurate in terms of our perception of loudness. The integrated loudness can be understood as the “overall” level of your audio. It’s also good to keep in mind that different meters serve different purposes.
Is VU same as RMS?
Peak and VU show different aspects of the same level, but Peak is instantaneous level and VU/RMS is average level. So given the same signal, peak levels will always be higher than VU/RMS (average) levels by definition.
Is VU the same as dB?
A Volume Unit is equal in magnitude to one dB. Decibels, one tenth of a Bel, are relative power measures. VU are typically used to monitor levels (histortically on 600 ohm terminations). dBm is a relative power measure.
What is 0 dB on a VU meter?
0 VU is often referred to as “0 dB”. The meter was designed not to measure the signal, but to let users aim the signal level to a target level of 0 VU (sometimes labelled 100%), so it is not important that the device is non-linear and imprecise for low levels.
Can humans hear 96 kHz?

Can you tell a difference between 96kHz and 192kHz?
The difference between the two rates, mathematically, is a better noise floor, probably far exceeding that of the specs of the DAC you are interested in. The noise floor comes from the number of bits per sample, not the sample rate. 192K and 96K will in many cases sound different when doing A/B comparisons.
