What is VoLTE and how does it work?
VoLTE (voice over LTE) refers to voice calls that are made over a 4G LTE network instead of more traditional calls which are made by using CSFB (Circuit-Switched Fall-back), a system that switches back to 2G or 3G technologies just before connecting a call.
Is VoLTE the same as 5G?
However, VoLTE services are not available for networks below 4G which means 2G and 3G do not support VoLTE. But, VoLTE supports 5G LTE devices and allows 5G users to reap the benefits of the voice over services effectively without interruption.
