Does the diva cup really work?
It started working after I spent a couple of days practicing (on low flow days). I’ve tested several brands over the years now, reviewing how the Diva Cup compared to others with different shapes and sizes. There’s no single answer: Yes, Diva Cups work. But also, you many need a different menstrual cup brand.
Can you use a menstrual cup with a low cervix?
If you have a low cervix, menstrual discs are probably not the right option for you, as they do require a certain amount of space to fit comfortably. In fact, for most people, we recommend a menstrual cup over a disc.
How does a menstrual disc self empty?
Essentially, the posture and strain from sitting down to urinate can cause the disc to shift and empty out its contents into the toilet. While it may seem like the disc is leaking, it’s not. It usually pops back into place once you’re done, or you can just tip the disc back up with your finger.
Why does it hurt to take out my menstrual cup?
Why is it so hard to remove a menstrual cup? Menstrual cups can be harder to remove if you insert them too far up the vaginal canal, allowing them to form a tight seal around the cervix. A cup that is too big for you, may also be more difficult or painful to remove.

Can you swim with menstrual disc?
Softdisc can be worn during exercise, swimming, using the bathroom, and even during sexual intercourse. Note that It is normal to experience some leaking while using the bathroom as you are bearing down on your pelvic muscles. This does not mean that your disc needs to be changed.
