What should I bring to FLETC?
Students are encouraged to bring their issued leather gear, ballistic vest and a “protective cup.” It is not necessary to bring duty weapons because the FLETC will provide them and leather gear, as needed. FLETC uniforms will be provided*; however, students can wear personal navy-blue BDUs.
Can you leave FLETC on weekends?
The normal training week is Monday through Friday, but training may be scheduled on weekends, if necessary. When you check in at the Visitor Center, you will be provided a class schedule for your reference.
Where is FLETC?
The FLETC headquarters are at the former Naval Air Station Glynco in the Glynco area of unincorporated Glynn County, Georgia, near the port city of Brunswick, Georgia, and about halfway between Savannah, Georgia, and Jacksonville, Florida.
