In case of tough and dried stains: Add one scoop of Vanish to your laundry detergent and wash regularly. In case of normal stains add ½ a scoop. Wash as always. You can achieve best results at 30 degrees.

What should you not use Vanish on?
When using Vanish to pre-treat, use lukewarm water. For best results, it may be necessary to repeat parts of the process. Do not use on garments requiring dry cleaning. Do not use on any garment or rug made of wool, silk or leather.
How long can you leave Vanish on clothes?
Leave to work for a maximum of 5 minutes on coloured garments and 10 minutes for whites. For tough stains, soak your garment using one scoop of powder and 4L of water.
Can I put Vanish in washing machine?
Where do I put Vanish in my washing machine? To add a whitening boost to your wash, just add a dose of Vanish into the drawer with your regular detergent. You should add a dose to every wash to remove stains and prevent your whites from fading over time.

- Soak your clothes in cold water. With a container, add cold water and soak your clothes.
- Add bleach to the clothing in the container.
- Stir everything in the container and soak for 10 minutes.

What happens if you leave Vanish on for too long? Vanish is a cleaning solution, so if you leave the product on your garment for too long you run the risk of fading your item. To keep your items in pristine condition, always follow the instructions on the back of the packaging.
Why has Vanish turned my whites yellow?
It’s the effect of the bleaching agents in the Vanish. Is the fabric polycotton or some other manmade fibre and cotton? If you put it in sunlight somewhere, inside on a window ledge will do (if it ever stops raining) that may get rid of the yellow mark.
Can Vanish cause stains?
As it’s only hydrogen and oxygen, it doesn’t damage or stain any fabrics at all. I actually used some of the Vanish spray on laundry stuff on a bloodstain on our sheet, I cut my hand in the garden and didn’t notice it was still bleeding.
