Can you reuse AlloyGator?
Can AlloyGators be reused if I have new tires? AlloyGators can generally be re-installed to the same wheels if you have new tires, providing they have not sustained heavy impact and all old glue residue is removed in order that the join can be effectively re-joined. We do not recommend re-installing damaged profiles.
How do you remove AlloyGator?
To remove an AlloyGator, simply jack up the car, fully deflate the tire, remove the plastic joining clip and carefully prise the profile up around the joint area. Firmly tap the face of the AlloyGator using a rubber mallet on the side which has the hole in it. This will then release the glue and open up the joint.

Are Alloygators worth it?
They are a waste. I had purchased them for my 21″ wheels on my Model S. They causing nothing but balance issues, creaked when driving slowly and didn’t stay flush with the tires. The service center refused to balance the tires or re-install them when I needed to replace the tires so I just threw them away.
