How to install a PSU
- Step 1: Start off by making sure all the cables you need are attached to the PSU, especially if you have a modular or semi-modular unit.
- Step 2: With the PSU fan facing downwards, slide it into the case’s PSU bay.
- Step 3: It’s cable connectin’ time.
- Step 4: Tidy up!
Which way round does a PSU go?
It is recommended to mount the power supply with its ventilation top cover facing DOWNWARD. The fan in the power supply will take in the warm air inside the computer case, and the power supply will exhaust the air through the back.
Can you put power supply upside down?
