The ride will take place on Saturday, July 16th, 2022. The course will be the same as last year’s; no Carson Pass but instead Pacific Grade x 2. Early registration price = $139.00.
Why is it called the Death Ride?
The first order of business was to downplay the name “Death Ride” out of respect for the family of Dr. Scott Lambert, who died in a single-vehicle accident during last year’s ride. This year, the event is officially known as “The Tour of the California Alps – The Death Ride”, or “The Tour” for short.
