The NexStar 6SE is a very capable instrument of observation, allowing for bright, detailed views of both deep sky and Solar System objects. With both 6 inches of aperture, as well as a go-to computerized mount, it packs quite the punch for beginner or intermediate astronomers.

Yes, once you have aligned, tracking is on by default. You can choose Jupter, it will go to it, and then track it. Also, after you have aligned the scope, it will continue to track even if you move the scope manually with the arrow buttons on the hand set.

Yes the 6se is a great scope. I have had mine for a few years now. It would make a great Astro scope, but you would ideally need an Equatorial wedge and a focal reducer/field flattener for true astrophotography.
Can you see galaxies with Celestron 6se?
