What is Progent solution?
Progent® cleans lenses and loosens and removes surface protein deposits after a short soak without manual rubbing. To ensure comfort, eye health and to prolong the life of gas permeable lenses, it is recommended that patients remove proteins with Progent® bi-weekly.
Can you use soft contact lens solution for gas permeable lenses?
Do not use solutions for soft lenses for RGP lenses. Rigid gas permeable lenses are mostly constructed of silicone and do not contain any water. As a result, a different kind of cleaning solution is required for these lenses.
Why is unique pH out of stock?
There is a manufacturer shortage of both sizes of Unique pH.
The manufacturer is completely out of the 2.5 oz size and won’t have more until June. We can only order a limited quantity of the 4oz size each month. When Unique pH is in stock, there is a limit of 3 per customer.
Why was complete contact solution discontinued?
The company issued a massive recall and discontinued the solution worldwide. Since then, there has been a handful of less-widespread recalls, set off by issues ranging from bacterial contamination in a Chinese plant to the detection of trace amounts of iron that could cause lens cleaner to lose its effectiveness.
How often should you use Progent?
The use of Progent once a week is recommended for a more thorough cleaning and to remove protein deposits. 1. Open Progent A and B containers by gently twisting the top of the containers and fill the vial with Progent A and B, being careful not to spill any.

What happens if you use the wrong contact solution?
If you accidentally put hydrogen peroxide contact lens solution in your eye, it’ll burn and may be quite painful. Remove the lens right away and flush your eye with sterile saline. If you don’t have saline, flush with water or an artificial tear drop and see your eye doctor as soon as possible.
Does it matter what contact lens solution I use?
