The United Nations Group of Governmental Experts (GGE) on Advancing responsible State behaviour in cyberspace in the context of international security 2019/2021 has published its final report, adopted on 28 May 2021. The 2019/2021 group is the sixth GGE to be established since 2004.

Through resolution 73/27, the General Assembly established an Open-Ended Working Group (OEWG), in which all UN Member States are invited to participate. The Group will convene for the first time in 2019 and report back to the General Assembly in 2020.

The working group is open-ended. This means that all UN Member and Observer States, intergovernmental organizations and non-governmental organizations with ECOSOC consultative status may attend public meetings of the working group.
