Our founders are all family: Connor, Brigette, & MaryClaire (three siblings) teamed up with Brigette’s husband Caleb for the start of this venture. It wasn’t long until many more family members got involved in the business, along with all the friends that we could rope into the operation.
How do you make leaf tea with Piper?
WITH A TEA DRIPPER
Pour 28oz of hot water over the loose leaf (should be just below the neck of the dripper). Be sure to check the blend’s info for the proper water temperature! Start a timer for the blend’s steeping time and stir thoroughly. Stir every 45-60 seconds as it steeps for the best flavor extraction.

How do you use a piper and leaf tea press?
Simply pour an essential bag of loose leaf into the base of the tea press, fill the press with hot water to the convenient fill line, and allow your tea to steep! Once the tea is done brewing, you’ll be able to strain and pour your Concentrated Tea into a jar for storage. It’s that easy!

Brewing instructions:
Bring water to a boil and let cool slightly. Pour six ounces of water into the glass and let brew for about three minutes. Squeeze tea bag, stir and remove the tea bag. Once cooled, add in some ice, a lemon wedge and a mint leaf if desired and enjoy!

In order to meet shifting consumer demand during the pandemic, we had to prioritize the production of many of our products, which unfortunately has led to a temporary suspension of some of our offerings.

Why don’t we put coffee in tea bags?
When coffee is ground up coarse or fine, it is brittle so it breaks up into larger and smaller size particles. Depending on the size of the small holes of the mesh tea bag, there is a good chance some of the finer particles will seep out.
