Will a 3 inch exhaust pipe fit a STS-V?

I have found 3″ pipes for CTS-V’s so it is not unreasonable to get one to fit. I know the LFX only has 2.5″ outlets but going to a 3″ exhaust shouldn’t really be affected much by that. So I measured the STS-V SC pulley and it is 2.75″. The SC balancer pulley I have is 6.50″ which comes out to a ratio of around 2.36:1. Way too much for this engine.

How much boost does the STS-V blower make?

The article says the STS-V blower was designed to make 12PSI of boost but the intercooler accounts for the lower boot numbers. And the pulley on this now seems really small. I may shoot for a 1.5:1 ratio or my car initially until I get it dialed in and do other up grades.
