Are eShakti dresses true to size?
eShakti sizing is true to size…if you’re not afraid of the numbers. You see, I’m a 16W/18W but when I took a glance at their sizing chart I noticed that my measurements fell into the 3X/26W column.

How much does it cost to get a formal dress made?
Designer prom dresses from designers such as Sherri Hill and Jovani on average go for $700-$1,500, again not including alteration costs. The cost of our custom prom dresses ranges from $500-$1,000. The pricing depends on fabric costs and the complexity of the design.
Do Azazie dresses come from China?
We are a US based company with our designs coming out of our LA office and our dresses and accessories made in China, Cambodia and Vietnam. Many of the independent tailors we work with are family-owned businesses and come with decades of combined experience in the garment industry.
What is the difference between slim and tailored fit?
The main difference between tailored fit and slim fit is that tailored fit is cut closer to the body replicating the “tailored” look. Typically it will have the appearance that it’s altered to your own measurements. While slim fit is a generically closer cut to the body but still designed for the masses.
Are tailored clothes better?
A well-tailored outfit is less likely to incur damage. Clothing that is too loose can catch and tear, while seams that are too tight can pop. A small initial investment in tailoring will pay off in the long run.

Is 1X the same as XXL?
1X is used in women’s clothing as a size equivalent to XL and some XXL male clothing. Before buying 1X or XL clothes, please check the brand’s own size guide to ensure the article fits.
Is XXL the same as 2X?
XXL is misses size and 2X is plus size. They have different proportions.
Why are alterations so expensive?
Lined garments are more difficult and time consuming to alter. Chiffon, lace, delicate fabrics, and beaded clothing cost more to alter because they require more time and care to sew. Men’s jackets are also expensive because of their complicated construction.
How long does it take to get a dress tailored?
Depending on how busy your local seamstress or tailor is, alterations could take between two weeks to four weeks to complete. On average across the industry, alterations typically take between 1 to 2 weeks to be completed.
How many dresses can you try on Azazie?

A:Order up to 3 try-on dresses at a time for $10-$15 per dress. Keep the dresses for 1 week and then postmark them for return by the 7th day of delivery (instructions for processing a return here).

Please keep in mind that it’s always better to take in a dress (for alterations) than hope that there’s enough fabric to let out.
