When is the Everclear Summerland Tour 2021?
Coming up in 2021, Everclear will be hosting another version of their Summerland Tour joined by Living Colour, Hoobastank and Wheatus. This year’s outing takes place in July making notable stops in Middletown, Houston, Fort Worth, Southaven, Evansville and Huntsville.
When did the Summerland Tour start and end?
Alexakis founded the Summerland Tour with Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath. The tour made its debut in 2012 and ran annually through 2016 before taking a year off and returning in 2018. The current Summerland Tour dates, which include 15 shows across the United States, is set to include more cities as COVID-19 restrictions are lifted as the year continues.
Is Everclear a good show?
The show was really good. I was impressed with the opening act, The Great Heights Band, which rarely happens (I don’t have good luck with opening acts). Once Everclear hit the stage, everyone was ready to have a great time.
How did Everclear get started?
But it was his eventual move to Portland, Oregon, that sealed his rock-star fate. After placing an ad in a local Portland paper, Alexakis met bassist Craig Montoya and drummer Scott Cuthbert, and Everclear was officially established in 1992 when the trio began performing at local gigs.
