Can you rent houseboats in Voyageurs National Park?
Houseboating is one of many ways to get out to explore the solitude of Voyageurs National Park but have the amenities of home at your finger tips. All houseboat rentals are commercially operated by companies located just outside the park boundaries.

Can you put a fire on houseboat the forest?
A good place to build a campfire on the raft is on top of the small roof portion next to the Oar. It will keep you warm and dry while rowing with almost no risk of accidentally stepping in it. You can fit log holders on it, enough to carry over 300 logs if you build them within each other.
How do you get to Voyageurs National Park?
There is no public transportation to Voyageurs National Park. No bus lines or passenger trains serve this area. Public launch ramps available at the three park visitor centers located at Rainy Lake, Kabetogama Lake, and the Ash River Visitor Center.
Can you boat from kabetogama to Rainy Lake?
To the east, Lake Kabetogama connects into Namakan Lake Rainy Lake is best accessed with a land portage at Kettle Falls. For a small fee, your boat is put on a trailer and shuttled a short distance to Rainy Lake.
Can cannibals swim the forest?
Cannibals and most mutants cannot swim, though occasionally they can enter the water and not die. They can, however, walk a little distance into the water, although they will avoid further than waist deep. The animals that can swim are fish, sharks, turtles and crocodiles.

You cannot ride ‘up’ ziplines. Cannibals and Mutants will attack zip lines if the player is close enough to them. Ziplines have a max length of 30 ropes. Mods can make the ziplines an unlimited length.
Can you bring your own kayak to Voyageurs National Park?
You can either bring your own boat or rent one from us. Whatever you choose, there is usually plenty of room for a smaller boat on your houseboat. Be sure to check out the layouts of all our vessels, and plan a place to store your canoe or kayak before you step aboard.
Do houseboats have showers?
How does a houseboat bathroom work? The sink and shower in a houseboat bathroom get water from the onboard freshwater holding tank. The freshwater holding tank has a water hose connection that can be reached from the outside of the boat. At that connection, the tank can be filled with water.
Can you waterski in Voyageurs National Park?
Use of “personal watercraft” (Jet-Skis, Wave Runner, etc..) is prohibited within Voyageurs National Park. Overnight docking is permitted at Kettle Falls, but no overnight docking is permitted at visitors centers.
