Does the KitchenAid kn256ps pouring shield fit my KitchenAid kv25g mixer?
I purchased the KitchenAid KN256PS pouring shield as KA specified that it fit our Model KV25G bowl-lift mixer. Well, it does not fit. I have attached a photo that shows that the shield is about 1/4 inch too small in diameter. It can be stretched to fit but then the slightest touch dislodges it into the bowl.
Is the KitchenAid machine cover worth the money?
But its still a piece of plastic costing over $20 with a kichenaid sign on the top. I hope it will last just as long as the machine itself, than I would say its worth the investment 🙂 I will update this review how it lasts. I LOVE KitchenAid almost everything! However, this cover is crazy flimsy. Be careful using it.
Would you buy a KitchenAid mixer again?
What KitchenAid must not realize is that we expect quality from them, this is really pliable and not an item that could be long lasting if not very careful. I would buy it again – only because I have a true need for it (keeping hot homemade dog food from splashing up at me when I am mixing), but, I was honestly disappointed in the quality.
